Volunteers, Interns, And Employment

VOLUNTEER

Mohonk is strictly a non-profit organization, and volunteers contribute to what Mohonk has accomplished and helps make the world a better place. Everyone has something to offer to help others. Over the years for Mohonk, this has included everyone from MDs and attorneys to carpenters, and beekeepers. The list is inspiring such as those with expertise in organic farming, golf, fencing, entrepreneurship, administration, advice on admission to college, scuba diving, auto repair, sailing, and all manner of the visual and performing arts.

Volunteering can be for a singular event or weekly event, and if you are retired, that is especially fine. If you are sixteen, that is inspiring. We are also willing to develop and sponsor these programs

No matter what, everyone benefits, especially the children.

INTERNSHIPS

Internships will become available beginning in the Fall, of 2025. We are also in negotiations with several high schools and universities in Fairfield and New Haven counties to provide credit for one or two-semester internship programs. These internships will be based on learning and applying brain-based methods with children.

EMPLOYMENT

We have a number of employment opportunities for professionals in the fields of psychiatry, psychology, social work, and education. Employment is based upon the specific programs we offer. Those employed will be given a base payment per month plus ALL of the income received by the children and families that enroll in our programs.
