Recreational Programs

Our recreational programs are one day or weekend events. We hold them in various locations in Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts, especially in Westport, Connecticut. In Mt Washington, Massachusetts (NOT New Hampshire) we offer a number of nature and conservation programs at our 185-acre forest property in the southern Berkshires year-round.

NATURE AND CONSERVATION PROGRAMS

We offer one- and two-day weekend programs throughout the year at our center in Mt. Washington. Nature Photography and the Search for Endangered Species have been among the most popular in recent years. In Mt Washington, 89 different species of animals and plants have been identified by the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife.

ENDLESS: AIR, LAND, AND SEA

We also offer what seems like an endless variety of recreational programs that have been requested or are offered year-round This has included scuba diving, rappelling, spelunking, learning to pilot an aircraft, wilderness survival, and orienteering among others. We are able to do this because there are many individuals who have expertise in many fields and love to share their knowledge with others. If the reader of our website has expertise in any area, we would be willing to consider it and sponsor a program. Of course, all of our programs place safety as the highest priority. and that never takes a back seat.
